Why We Created Lumora
A few years ago, I watched my mother struggle with something most people take for granted.
Simple things like holding a cup of coffee, opening a jar, or buttoning a shirt had become frustrating because of the stiffness and discomfort in her hands.
What hurt the most wasn't seeing her in pain.
It was seeing her slowly give up little pieces of her independence.
Like many people, she tried different solutions hoping for lasting relief. Some helped temporarily, others didn't fit into her daily life.
That's when we discovered red light therapy.
With consistent use, she began feeling more comfortable. Everyday tasks became easier, mornings felt less frustrating, and most importantly, she started enjoying life without constantly thinking about her hands.
Seeing that change inspired something bigger.
